Welcome to the HOUSE Denver Setup team! Our setup team is important to the weekly success of services and events happening at HOUSE Denver. With the help of our setup team we will create environments that foster relationships and other ministry in our church. These are truly the unseen backbone of our time together as a community. 

The Setup team’s purpose is primarily to provide support and serve all other Sunday and special event teams by ensuring their areas are well set up and ready for their event or service. Setup team members must possess a servant’s heart ready to help wherever needed.

MORNING SERVICE TEAM CHECKLIST

Before Service: (20 mins)

  • Arrival Time: 8:45am 
  • Stanchion reposition (4 behind sound booth, 2 in front of sanctuary doors, 2 remain to block stroller/handicap space, 4 go downstairs in the kids area)
  • Bouncy House (outside if temperature permits) 
  • Ensure TV connection (turn on stage TV and wait for it to sync with the screens computer in the booth. Once the image holds you can turn it off until the sermon)
  • Trash pickup in sanctuary, balcony, and lobby
  • Chair alignment on the main floor and balcony
    • Use the curtain rod found in the back of the booth as a measuring tool between chairs on the main floor.
  • Ensure balcony is clear of any desks or chairs that are not meant for service
  • 6 tissue boxes in place (gathered from where they’ve moved if need be). Tissue boxes are downstairs in the white cabinets behind the black curtains
  • Mints refilled under chairs on front row
  • Get 2 bottles of water for speakers and put on podium
  • Ask Sunday Team leaders if they need additional help with anything 
  • Attend Team Rally X: 9:15am (room across from sanctuary)

During Service:

  • TV/Podium positioning during minute mingle
  • TV/Podium positioning after sermon (TV moves when the band is called up; Podium moves after service ends)

After Service:

  • Coffee clean up
  • Trash pickup in sanctuary, balcony, and lobby
  • Help kids ministry move Elementary classroom supplies to the Tots room in the downstairs area (four white tables, two faux wood tables, 2 sets of the cream dividers + the black chairs and 4 stanchion polls) This should be done 10-15 mins after the adult service ends.

EVENING SERVICE TEAM CHECKLIST

Before Service:

  • Arrival Time: 3:00pm
  • Ensure TV connection (turn on stage TV and wait for it to sync with the screens computer in the booth. Once the image holds you can turn it off until the sermon)
  • Trash pickup in sanctuary, balcony, and lobby
  • Chair alignment on the main floor and balcony 
    • Use the curtain rod found in the back of the booth as a measuring tool between chairs on the main floor.
  • 6 tissue boxes in place (gathered from where they’ve moved if need be). Tissue boxes are downstairs in the white cabinets behind the black curtains
